Looming catastrophe on South Coast, beyond

“Apocalyptic” is the word coming from physicists, journalists and prophets about the scarey Gulf Oil eruption.

“We know that an unbelieveable quantity of oil and gas and a multitude of toxins are spewing and vomiting and bleeding and gushing from a hole in the Gulf that some early report said was an opening into a cavity the size of Mt. Everest,” wrote Michael Knight, editor of the New Earth News on June 26, 2010.

“It killed 11 people in a heartbeat.

“And now, millions, absolutely millions of people are at risk as well,” Knight said.

Is Knight exaggerating?

The answer is maybe yes, maybe no.

Let’s look at the convergence of opinions from different reports.

(1) Following is a summary of expectations by unnamed scientists compiled by radio talk host Dr. James P. Wickstrom and released on June 9, 2010 –

“At some point the drilled hole in the earth will ENLARGE ITSELF beneath the wellhead to WEAKEN the area the wellhead rests upon.

“The intense pressure will then push the wellhead off the hole allowing a DIRECT UNRESTRICTED FLOW OF OIL …

“The hole will continue to increase in size, allowing more and more oil to rise into the Gulf.

“AFTER SEVERAL BILLION BARRELS OF OIL HAVE BEEN RELEASED, the pressure within the massive cavity five miles (8 km) beneath the ocean floor will begin to normalize.

“This will allow the WATER under the intense pressure at 1 mile deep, to be FORCED INTO the hole and the cavity where the oil was.

“The temperature at that depth is near 400 degrees, possibly more.

“The water will be vaporized and turned into steam, creating an enormous amount of force, LIFTING the Gulf floor.

“It is difficult to know how much water will go down into the core and therefore, it(‘s) not possible to fully calculate the rise of the floor.

“The TSUNAMI WAVE THIS WILL CREATE will be anywhere from 20 to 80 feet (6 to 24 meters) high, possibly more.

“Then the floor will fall into the now vacant chamber.

“This is how nature will seal the hole.

“Depending on the HEIGHT OF THE TSUNAMI, the ocean debris, oil, and existing structures that will be washed away on shore and inland, [IT] WILL LEAVE THE AREA FROM 50 TO 200 MILES (80 to 320 km) INLAND DEVOID OF LIFE.

“Even if the debris is cleaned up, the CONTAMINANTS, that will be in the GROUND AND WATER supply will PROHIBIT RE-POPULATION of these areas for an unknown number of years,” concludes Dr. Wickstrom’s summary of expectations.

Pretty grim stuff.

Because the South Coast Report is an investigative journalism report, Dr. Wickstrom’s testimony is simply not enough to support an opinion that he is correct in his analysis and speculation.

Let’s look at a report of another possible scenario:

(2) THE JOURNALIST’S REPORT on the Gulf oil eruption …

“Warnings were raised as long as a year before the Deepwater Horizon disaster (Gulf oil eruption) that the area of seabed chosen by the BP geologists might be unstable, or worse, inherently dangerous,” reported journalist Terrence Aym @ http://www.helium.com/items/1864136-how-the-ultimate-bp-gulf-disaster-could-kill-millions

“Documents from several years ago indicate that the subterranean geologic formation may contain the presence of a huge methane deposit.

None other than the engineer who helped lead the team to snuff the Gulf oil fires set by Saddam Hussein to slow the advance of American troops has stated that a huge underground lake of methane gas — compressed by a pressure of 100,000 pounds per square inch (psi) could be released by BP’s drilling effort to obtain the oil deposit.

“Current engineering technology cannot contain gas that is pressurized to 100,000 psi.

“By some geologists’ estimates the methane could be a massive 15 to 20 mile toxic and explosive bubble trapped for eons under the Gulf sea floor.

“… According to worried geologists, the first signs that the methane may burst its way through the bottom of the ocean would be fissures or cracks appearing on the ocean floor near the damaged wellhead.

“Evidence of fissures opening up on the seabed have been captured by the robotic submersibles working to repair and contain the ruptured well. Smaller, independent plumes have also appeared outside the nearby radius of the bore hole itself,” Aym’s story reports.

The journalist then goes on to describe a shuddering scenario if an explosive, poisonous, massive methane bubble were to rupture, then rocket to the surface of the Gulf of Mexico and setting off a supersonic tsunami with the wave traveling somewhere between 400 to 600 miles per hour.

Projections of devastation include a super wave going from 50 to 200 miles inland for Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas. The state of Florida with its average elevation of only 100 feet is completely lost changing maps of the future forever.

As an aside, there is a published report of a seer who had a two-part dream. In the first part the seer saw a map of the United States. Then, the map disappeared. In the second part of the dream the map reappeared, this time without the state of Florida on it.

(3) THE PROPHETIC REPORT on the Gulf Oil eruption …

As a point of reference, the South Coast Report publisher has been following prophetic utterances for over 25 years and believes that the majority of modern day prophecy is unreliable. While some of these prophets may have good intentions, there is a preponderance of wild imaginations, good and bad guesses and the occassional dabbling on the “dark side.”

Perhaps, the safest approach for investigative journalism in dealing with prophecy is forming “prophetic themes” as opposed to siding with only one prophet possessing a charismatic personality that too often leads to a cult-like reliance where the messenger becomes more important than the message.

Here are some of the major prophetic themes … earth changes … world war III … an anti-christ … deliverance.

Because our most immediate concern is the implication of potentially, serious devastation caused by the Gulf oil spill, here’s what some modern day prophets are saying about “earth changes.”

“Fire will fall from the sky and wipe out a great part of humanity, the good as well as the bad, sparing neither priest nor faithful,” said Sister Agnes Sasagawa of Akita, Japan, whose messages have been approved by her local bishop. Source: The Final Hour by Michael H. Brown, page 176.

This possibly could be a reference to the potential of methane gas-filled clouds drifting across continents from the Gulf oil site and literally raining down fire when ignited by conditions that produce lightning bolts or perhaps succumbing to the combustible pressure of unstable floating toxins.

Following are more prophetic reports from The Final Hour

“An unforeseen fire will descend over the whole earth, and a great part of humanity will be destroyed,” predicted the Italian seer, Elena Leonardi, on April 1, 1976, quote on page 186.

Michael Brown also reported that a Yugoslavian seer simply known as “Julka” had a vision that the air was on fire accompanied by a series of earthquakes. “The whole atmosphere of the earth, from the ground to the sky, was a gigantic sheet of flame,” according to Julka.

In another message this time allegedly from the Blessed Virgin Mary to Mother Elena Aiello of Calabria, Italy, contained this unsettling forecast, “clouds with lightning, flashes of fire in the sky, and a tempest of fire shall fall upon the world.”

Some of the prophets are predicting that the clouds will be seen as an illuminated “blood red.”

“Red clouds like blood will cross the sky, the crash of thunder will shake the earth to its very core,” said a stigmatist named Julie Jahenny, according to The Final Hour.

“The ocean will cast its foaming waves over the land, and the earth will be turned in to a huge graveyard. The bodies of the wicked and of the righteous will cover the earth. The famine that follows will be severe. All plantlife will be destroyed as well as three-fourths of the human race. This crisis will be sudden and the punishment will be world-wide,” said Jahenny.

OK, so our prophets, our scientists and our investigative journalists are singing the same tune, “Bad news is just around the corner.”

What can we do about it? Are we left with our last option, divine intervention?

Does God have an exit strategy for us? Does He have an escape plan?

The answer is NOT a nuclear silo bomb shelter. The answer is NOT to beat the midnight rush out of town before martial law is declared.

The answer IS going back to God big time. Really, really big time.

For lucky Catholics they have the “golden guarantee” from Jesus Himself who promised to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque in visions between 1673 and 1675 that the faithful who devoted themselves to His Sacred Heart would find a safe refuge during these perilous times.

Jesus allegedly made 12 promises to those faithful souls who devoted their lives and entrusted their families to His Sacred Heart, one of which is “I will be your SECURE REFUGE during life and, above all, in death.”

Here at the South Coast Report, situated on the precarious shores of the Gulf of Mexico in Corpus Christi (it means the Body of Christ), Texas, we are starting a e-mail-based network called OPERATION SAFE REFUGE.

This network needs to be (1) Church oriented (2) family committed and (3) individually driven.

It consists of the following critical commitmets …

… giving your life totally to God and trusting in God’s Son, Jesus, to be your safe refuge individually and for your family –

… making acts of reparation to show your seriousness of intent –

… frequent and worthy reception of the Eucharist –

… regular observance of a “holy hour” in Church.

A number of inspired people have come to the conclusion that these events we are going through are the birth pains of the beginning of a new era, comparable in significance to the creation of Adam And Eve and the life, death and resurrection of Jesus.

What’s ahead is a New Paradise. But before that happens, we are told, a world-wide purging is necessary. It may well have begun with the April 2010 oil rig explosion.

For those of you who are open to the movement of the Holy Spirit and have concluded that this scenario is both credible and is in our near future, a natural response is anxiety. And perhaps some fear. Panic is not an acceptable option.

Therefore, the South Coast Report is prepared to communicate by e-mail to answer your questions and concerns.
